Called this number back & she claimed to be from HMRC who apparently have served me with two warrants around miscalculation of Tax. They apparently called at my home on two occasions during lockdown when I was home and not allowed to leave me house. She was very plausible, giving me a name, badge number and warrant ref numbers. Considering I am employed and my tax is paid via PAYE I asked her questions as to who my employer was and this completely threw her. I asked her other questions which she sho
"BT" advising me that they had not been able to get in contact with me around some suspicious activity on my internet, so were removing access. Do not have BT so obviously not valid

Man with strong Asian accent rang asking me to confirm who I was, I asked who was asking and how he had got my number. He told me that I had unresolved debts, which I challenged and said I didn t, I asked him where he had got my number from and he mentioned Debt Resolution Services. I told him that I didn t give my number out and I asked him for his company details at which point he hung up

She repeated that I had registered for financial trade. I told her she did not have permission to call my number again and that the call would be reported as scam to potentially gain personal details and/or defraud of funds. SCAM - automated saying it’s HMRC and there is a case against you for tax fraud so it says you have to press 1 to speak to the officer in charge of your case or they will issue a warrant for your arrest immediately LOL
