They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. 64057 is the number to text to STOP reciving messages from We Buy Any Car.com On my network, O2 this is rated as a premium rate number/service so I was charged 13p to opt out. I dont know if other mobile providers recognise this number as a premium rate number or not. WBAC stated that they operate this as a free service and the cost charged is from O2 in my instance. I know its not a biggie - but strange to be charged.

Drop calling my number without speaking
The organisation using this number are expert scammers. They already had my o2 mobile phone number, contract account number and asked me to confirm my address before offering a discount on my tariff. I was aware it was a scam and played dumb for a while until they sent me the text which would have given them full access to my account had I replied to it. After wasting their time for 10 minutes, I told them I knew they were scammers and they became very abusive, then misscalled my number around 20 times

SCAM According to the area number its from the states. It rang on my landline & answer machine answered. They hung up & called again straight away. Again my answer machine answered. This time a lady voice with a foreign accent started saying hallo, hallo... Quite a few times before they hung up Don't know anybody in the states who has my number. Got to be a scam.

I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.
Mobile operator says I have called this number, there’s no record of it on my phone or on the itemised bill but have been charged premium rate…
I don't know anyone in the London capital so I always ignore if it genuine then they should leave a message saying Who they are but is the reason for the call.
