Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8437241xx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?

this was a call from my internet provider to say that my internet has been compromised and will be switched off
Indian sounding guy said he was from BT Customer Service asking about my broadband. He cut off when said BT had told me they do not make cold calls.
SCAM. A computerised voice saying warning my national insurance number has been compromised. I cut the call.
Multiple calls per week from this number. I rang it back once to get an automated message about First Call Group which deals with PPI. On my auto-reject list now but they continue to call.

This Norwich UK Landline phone number 01603983037 phoned me claiming to be Greenpeace. The Asian man went on to say the call was in relation to a petition I signed, and about a money donation I sent them that was Declined, and wanted me to pay him the donation again with a link he had prepared earlier of which I refused. After the call ended I logged in to my bank and found the payment I previously paid to Greenpeace had already cleared. Reported To Police And Action Fraud.
