They call me similar to the one above about an accident that I have done, which never happened!
Caller named knew my name and my insurance company. He said he represented them which I don t believe. He said I had an accident on a certain date and he was calling in regards to nuisance calls. I didn t report any nuisance calls. I told him I didn t want to speak because his call sounded supsicious. Don t answer this number.
Just wonder who it was, telephone call then blank answerphone message. Sales?

1 day agoThis number is pretending to be NHS. They sent me a link to enter and "apply" for my NHS COVID Pass. The message also says "Failure to apply may result in a fine". And the link that they sent ends in .com and not in .ukReply

Female automated voice ‘Hi, this is your reminder that your Amazon Prime subscription has been auto-renewed and you have been charged seventy nine nine nine’ (No currency mentioned!) Press 1 to cancel, press 2 for any other queries. Identical call to one I had from this dialling code last week.

This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. They say, each time, that the previous operator didn't action the request properly and promise it is fixed now...

SCAM - Call centre, once you pick up and speak it goes through to a very busy call centre. Indian sounding gentleman, only knew my first name, I asked who was calling and he claimed "NHS vaccination programme" at which point I told him he was lying and to stop scamming people, he hung up.
SCAM: I think it must be a scam number because he said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse which has since disbanded. he jumped in with another 'even better offer' before I'd even rejected the 1st offer. I didn't get a chance to reject any offer though as they spoke so fast with a thick accent, that I couldn't understand what was being said. I then asked him to repeat & he said 'bye' & hung up... So...
