The female caller from this number asked to speak to my wife by name. When I asked who was calling, she replied with the company name, which I didn t catch, and that it was in connection with our washing machine warranty. Our machine is about 14 years old, so the warranty ran out years ago! Number now blocked.

They are calling our telephone number in excess of 10 times a day -each time using a different tel number. East time we receive a call we ask that our number is removed from their calling list but they refuse to remove it. We have made it very clear that we don t want their calls. Asked if we had a gas boiler & was it over 7 years old. I got them to confirm that we had not asked to be contacted, said that we were TPS registered and that they were breaking the law. Was told that they would remove our number from their list (of course, they should have checked before disturbing us.)

I have an answering machine so don t pick up if I don t know the number but I am aware of these numbers from sites like yours. They are a nuisance and need to be stopped but I can t see who will have the balls to do this. As this comes through on the business line it gets very annoying but have also had a few on the private line and this number is not given out except to friends. Get a grip ofcom!!

Rung 12 times in the past 8 days. I ve been away in the USA so finally answered now I m back and wished I hadn t. Was relatively pushy about doing me the favour of switching my energy company and "putting money in my pocket", pretty much had to just hang up on her as she wouldn t take no for an answer. I ve now blocked the number also!
