SCAM / SPAM threatening automated call claiming to be from HMRC and that there is fraud investigation and if you don't press one and talk to the "tax officer" a warrant will be issued and you will be arrested shortly

SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

Second call received from this number. The first time they hung up as soon as I answered. The second time, I answered it, the bloke said that they were from "Consumer Helpline ", and "ringing about any finance [I d] taken out in the past ten years and any miss-sold PPI ", as soon as he heard me say that it was an "unsolicited call", and that "I m ex directory", the bloke hung up! Asked for a person by name but wouldn't say where they were calling from. Claimed it was about a personal matter and kept evading the question when asked where they were calling from.

NATIONAL BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS LTD We were called today by Bailey who confirmed he found our number online and did not screen for TPS. He confirmed he understood the law regarding TPS. To call TPS reg number is against the law. Asked to speak with his manager Oliver who did not seem concerned. I repeatedly asked to be put through to his manager which he refused, 'saying no one was available'. Asked for the Compliance Officer again he refused.
Called me 3 times in one day offering loft insulation despite me telling them I'm not the home owner so I can't make any decisions on such things.

I had a call from 0161 524 5263 but the caller rang off before I could get to my phone. Within seconds the phone rang again, this time showing 020 4538 7049. I thought it all must be some sort of scam so didn't answer and no messages were left.
