Amazon scam saying you have bought items that you have not. If you try to report that they have it wrong they get your details that can get them access to your bank account, and hence all the money you have in it.

I was called by this number to say someone was trying to purchase 200 on amazon and 700 on ebay. They first said my visa was being used I don't have a visa, then he said it could be a Mastercard? I asked who he was , he said 81 Newgate Street London, but I meant was he from my bank ?, he said he was from barclays , I do not have a barclays account.

Thery obviously think folk are stupid enough to respond by pressing button 2 - which only atkes you to a premium rate line from which the scammers make money. Five star bad.

Called today 31 August 22 with an automated message pretending to be from my bank. Saying there were suspicious transactions on my credit card. Press 2 to speak to security. "Security" guy was abrupt and rude demanding personal details. When I queried why he needed these details (if genuine call he should know) he simply hung up

Phoned a recorded message to say we owed money on an Amazon prime account . We don’t have Amazon prime. So my guess this is a scam

This phone number, alond with several mobile numbers, keeps ring me saying they are from HMRC stating that legal action is bout to be instgated aginst me. Total fraud and a scam. They are all CROOKS. This has been reported to Action Fraud but, as it does not affect Action Fraud, they will do nothing about this ongoing fraud and scam.

I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. Call received to my mobile 13.19 11/2. I get very few incoming calls hence suspected Spam call immediately. Decided to answer to have a bit off fun with the likely scammer but call cut off by the other party (remote dialler ?) as I went to answer. My Android phone was 'lit up' with 'Suspected Spam' - number blocked.

SCAM - Given the comments from other people and the fact that I had a scam text from Sky, then the odds are this is also a scam.

Fraud - Fake "debt collecter" type call. Asking to speak to financial department about an overdue debt that is owed (completely false allegation) but had no names or contact details. When asked if anything had been sent in writing the chap with a "Georide" accent said it could only be dealt with by phone so number blocked and reported.
