Purporting to be British Telecom but asking me for my information
Indian accent man named Kevin said he was calling from Microsoft as there is a problem with my computer. I told him that I knew this to be a scam phone call.Eventually he hung up but within seconds called me back. This time the number came up as unavailable. He asked me different personal questions to which I answered that it was none of his business. Kept having voicemail left threatening with County Court but left no company name. Called them back and he said he was from HMRC. Absolute scam- do not give these people any details.
This number called me today and I let it go to voicemail. Automated VM saying I needed to press 1 otherwise a warrant would be issued for my arrest as something to do with HMRC.

Said his name was James Walker. telling me I have unsecured debt. buckled when I started asking him questions and hung up. asking about my finances and from his accent clearly gave a false name, when I asked what company he was calling from he said it isn t a company it the consumer awareness line, but this does not exist. SCAM receive numerous calls daily which they keep hanging up whether I speak or not. I called the number back & they are a Funeral Plan SCAM. I remember speaking to them a while ago when I told them I was not interested so now I am fed up with them ringing & hanging up. I blocked the number but they still ring from a similar number in the same office building in Manchester. Do not give them any info. They ask for your dob & address. It's a scam
