I picked the phone up and there is complete silence. Very annoying and time-wasting.

A call from Manchester, where I know nobody, so either a mistake, or an unsolicited call. In any case I didn’t answer.

Caller spoke in foreign language, took for attempts before he spoke in English then said it was Alex calling from BT Openreach about my internet connection. I told him it wasn?t BT then he swore profusely then hung up.

I ve been getting regular calls from these scum. This number is now dead. Instead they re getting in via the web and it s coming up on my phone as 001036.

scam HMRC call.

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Scammer ....called at 6pm said he had three simple questions to ask ?? then wanted to confirm house number and postcode so i just gave him the runaround till he hung up !!!!

this is plain blackmailing... they said they wont stop calling unless i do the survey. ridiculous!!

rang me left no message. i tried to ring back but was told i dialed an incorrect number.....i didnt dial i just used the number they rang me from? who is this?

I asked for him to remove me from the calling list and he said can t. I asked again he just stayed on the line. These calls are very stressful and feel like harassment.
