Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. I asked him to hold on for a moment, muted the call, put it on speaker and just left the phone on the desk while I carried on with my work. Picked up this call and it then ended immediately, presumably a scammer.
They sent the following message: O2:We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, please update your payment information via: https://o2.uk.bill630.com/?o2=2 I am 99% sure it's a scam. Firstly it's a mobile number, according to this site it belongs to Vodafone. Aldo the site address isnt an official o2 address from my research. My relative had gotten this message before and when ignoring nothing happened. Please do not fall for it people.

This is a scam from the HRMC I suspect. Called saying that tax fraud has been raised under my name and to press 1. Very bad line, sounded like they were located in India. Became irate and unprofessional when I refused to give name.

I m getting really sick of these calls now. I am registered with TPS but am called both on my mobile and home number. I actually pressed 5 to speak with someone and she just put the phone down on me.
