They have aquired your mobile number via an old loan application. They say that they have loan application when infact they only have your name and number. if you pay them a fee and then they promise to call you in 48 hours, you will never hear from them again and may block your number - ho and empty your bank account. DO NOT GIVE THEM BANKING DETAILS ESPECIALLY DEBIT CARD DETAILS. INDIAN SCAM, LETS HOPE THEY GET A LARGER EARTH QUAKE IN FUTURE.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. They said that he needed to transfer ?11,000 from another account to sort out the problem and he would give the details of the account that he needed to transfer the money to. I?ve just had a call from this number. I get this type of thing every few days from other numbers. Everyone should just stop answering and making 0845 calls, then perhaps then the Telco?s who make money out of this sort of thing may actually do something about scam calls.

got a call from this number and they hung up when I answered. few mins later someone rang quoting my name and address saying we had been getting unwanted calls. they could block these calls etc sounded good till charge of 1.90 a month mentioned. i asked who reported these calls but he said it was a general thing people in this area were suffering from. after hung up I checked the number of who called and was same as first caller who had hung up. these are the very same people we dont want calls from surely?

received call from unknown number so didn't answer the call. When i checked the number it was autodials following up on a booked appointment.
