Claimed to be from my bank and asked for clearance for a payment I had supposedly made for nearly £1000.
When I answered they hung up! So annoying, I assume spammers - I'm on the preference service too, so where do they get details from?
Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse (I do not have a contract with them). Probably a scam, but I didn't talk to them for very long.
I just rang this number back an I was informed that the number dose not exist, and to ring the operator to get connected, I have now blocked this number.
Amazon Scam - apparently a £793 suspicious transaction had gone through and I needed to press "1" to talk to somebody...........I don't think so -do you?!!!!! :)

I know nobody who holds this number or who lives, works or has any connection with the location you show for its use. This number was used to dial my own 4 times in three minutes yesterday. As a result, I assumed was a cold caller or scammer and will block it.

0035319061297 called 16June23 at 12:46hrs. Left no message.
Whoever called from this number 02083131130 said they were from HMRC. This was an audio say that HMRC have been trying to get in touch and to press 1 to carry on the call.

Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. As this is the code where we live, answered the first call - no immediate response but after a few seconds, over a very crackly line, what sounded like a well spoken middle aged white lady, said something along the lines of 'suspicious transactions on my account, one for £300 odd & the other for £1,400 odd & I must do certain things at which point I hung up. Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation.
