I was a bit uneasy with a firm telling me that they could get me a rates reduction as there are many firms offering this service! I keep blocking their calls but the always call from a different number. My next option is change my phone number.

Just they lost the call, no words

This number has called my home number more than once. When answering, after a short while the call ends. Maybe checking the number is valid? I suspect this is related to a spam or scam. When I call the number they do not answer.

Claimed to be from an accident helpline calling to discuss a claim. No name or details given, probably a scam.

I am confused by this. I recently received a call from this number about an annual service booking; the woman at the other end knew my name but wanted me to confirm my address and postcode, which I did. I agreed to a suggested date and time, and she tells me that I will be getting a call on the day to confirm. I then receive a text to confirm the appointment, and directions to the BG website to cancel or amend. Logging onto the website, I can see that there is indeed an appointment booked in my
