SCAM claimed to be Tony from Carphone Warehouse but my andriod identified the caller as Al Kareem, a legitimate company, so they are using their number to think they are legit. Unless you use Al Kareem block this number

Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. Got a call from this number claiming to be from my Mobile Phone provider offering an upgrade. As I am on a PAYG tariff (satisfactory for my needs) I politely declined their offer and hung-up. If and when I want or need an upgrade I will decide which Company to approach.

Foreign woman, called my mobile and started asking questions about my business insurance. Told her shed called a private mobile number and she said she wasnt allowed to call those then hung up.
