SCAM - CALL SUPPOSEDLY FROM HMRC THREATENING TO PASS YOUR CASE TO LEGAL - DON'T CALL BACK AND HANG UP IF YOU ANSWERED
SCAM from "HMRC" or some fake police department saying "you owe money and warrant out for arrest unless you pay X amount and call them back urgently do not ignore this message" etc it is absolutely not HMRC or police so avoid this number!!
Claimed to be Amazon calling about a suspicious order. I will investigate.

SCAM. It was an automated call with a blokes voice saying it was Sandra from Amazon calling about suspicious account activity and giving me an option of buttons to press to confirm activity or speak to someone.

Scam pretending that be HMRC
Claims to be a company called UK Talks. Definitely suspicious if not scam or fraudulent. Website does not show numbers which call. The numbers they call from frequently change, the latest being this number. 01997 280702 is also one currently used by them. 01212 840668 used to be theirs but is now discontinued. Messages on their telephone numbers are in an American voice. There is no company of their name currently recorded as being trading on Companies House UK website. If, as suggested it is a trading nam

Just been called from this number claiming to be from BT Openreach wanting my Internet details as my security had been compromised. When challenged the caller was rude and hung up on me.This website suggests the phone is based near Greater Manchester but a phone locator website suggests it is based in London. Calling the number back yielded no response.

This was a missed call on Wednesday morning (07/11/2018), they called again today (Friday 09/11/2018) I answered, there was a brief few seconds of music then nothing.
I rang back and the company refused to accept my call on the basis that I withheld my number - obviously whoever it is has something to hide.
