I left this to go to answerphone as I don't recognise the number. The caller failed to leave a message.
Called stating they were from Currys PC World when I asked what the call was regarding they replied with "special offer promotion iPhone 14 pro for £35 a month." Currys don't do phone contracts as far as I'm aware. I said I'm not interested and they hung up.

Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. Never ACTUALLY even googled life insurance, simply talked to my partner as he's reaching his 50s in a few years. But this guy was persistent and insisted I applied, so I asked the name of his business and he couldn't answer. Google didn't even acknowledge the number. Hello, difficult to understand caller as English wasn't good. Wanted to sell me life insurance and wanted me to answer questions. Unwilling to do so. My impression it is a scam. Be careful don't even give your name. Can't wait till the government brings in new legislation to stop selling financial products over the phone.
Apparently I was due to compensation £££m having been conned by Mecedes about emissions. Told him I had seven Mercs, was a little busy and could he just put the money into a plain envelope and leave it underneath a bench at Fenchhurch Street station without passing GO, and I would have my butler pick it up later. He cut me off without confirming. The number is now blocked. Sense a potential scam.

I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.

Wife took a call on our landline from 'Amazon', for me saying (female voice, foreign accent) Prime membership was about to expire and I should renew at 79.99 or cancel. The call was not responded to. To my knowledge I'm not currently a prime member (and usually careful to not accidentally become so when ordering!). I would not expect such calls from Amazon anyway, so seems that Prime was being used as a excuse to go phishing/scamming?

This is a scam number with an automated voice concerning an order from Amazon. I do not have an Amazon account. This call is likely from a scamming call centre in India. Not the first time I've been targeted, each time from a different number. I put the phone down. Recommended: programmes by Rav Wilding on BBC iPlayer and repeated on BBC1. His team have viewed such scams. The scammers get into your phone.

I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.
