Usual BT/Openreach scam, saying something wrong with internet connection
SCAM / SPAMmessage sent to me asking for me to update my payment details from 02 as they had been unable to process my latest invoice and would incur late payment charges. The message was from 07784 054754. I don’t have 02 so another scam. Don’t click on the link.
They were slagging me for losing my blazer and brogues. Also kept saying rangers fc got liquidated and made me raging

Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.
Caller is persistent but does not leave any message as to the reason for the call. The call does not say anything when phone is answered.

I was called by this number at 08:18 this morning by someone claiming to be "Amazon Prime" (recorded message) and invited to be transferred to cancel a subscription ('press 1'). The person then asked for my details and, when questioned, told me that it is not possible to contact Amazon directly or my bank over this. The conversation stank so I discontinued the call.
Voice told me I had a virus on my pc and he could get rid of it. I said "How dare you get rid of my virus, I love it. I ve just bought it a new pink outfit and am taking it on holiday and I buy it birthday and Christmas presents. It is my friend and I don t want you to get rid of it". One very confused caller hung up in despair.

This number will ask you to press 1 claiming to be from HMRC tax office and threaten you will arrest warrant. HMRC will never do such a thing without a letter by post. DO not fall for this as consequences could be risky.
