Had a Spam Call with 01223936981 displayed (Cambridge). Recorded message played to me with usual '£700' suspicious charge from Amazon and '£2000' International Charge made on my Account etc. Ignored the request to respond. Telephoned the displayed number 15 minutes later, got 'unobtainable signal'. Note : an hour earlier had the same call but with a local Northampton number displayed. I called this number and the residents did not know anything about the Call. They reported it to BT for investigation.
I ve received a number of calls from 01384 009244. My system flagged them as potentially fraudulent.

This person is a serial scammer and fraudster who responds to wanted ads placed on Gumtree. Fraud The usual "Your BT internet and phone has been compromised and will be cut off in 24 hours" even though I'm not with BT. Followed up by wanting to download remote control access programmes on my laptop. Claiming to be from UK Tariff and that Sky customers have been overpaying their accounts and they want to check my payments are OK. They asked when I last made changes and as it is a new account I said I hadn't made changes. They asked how long I have had the account and I said I wasn't comfortable sharing that info.
