I am a elderly lady and a get scared of strange calls

I dont want these calls when i never gave them my number

Repeatedly calls and hangs up after 5-6 rings, annoying!

Just had a call from this number on my mobile. No response when I picked the phone up, probably dialed from an auto dialer. Looks like it is PPI, so don t bother calling the number back.

Keep calling my mobile and asking for other people e.g. Mr Thompson, Mrs Greive. I have asked them to stop calling me as I have had a number of calls.

Supposedly not trying to sell me something but wanted to know if I still had fibreglass loft insulation. I refused to tell him until he explained why he wanted to know - if as he said, he wasn t trying to sell me something. Needless to say, he hung up!

We were telephoned 3 times between approx 6 - 7pm on Thurs 29/11/2012. They did not leave messages which made me suspicious. I dialled 1471 and Googled. They appear to be in Preston, Lancashire. I am a pensioner caring for my parents who share dementia and Alzheimer?s. We do not want unwelcomed strangers calling our home. Can something be done, please? Thank you kindly.

Asked if i had been involved in any road traffic accidents in the last 3 years. I said no. Said they would take me off their database. We ll see! Sounded like a liverpudlian accent.

This number has been ringing my landline numerous times over the past few days. I finally answered so I could tell them off, but they hung up as soon as I answered.

Keep getting called by this number about 6 times a day. They will phone and hang up, leaving a missed call. Call back and it will cost you a lot. Scum.

Female caller with American accent informs there has been several security breaches with IP address and to press a phone key button for technical support. Don t be fooled.

Got a call from this number I tried to explain we have terminally ill person in house and needed phone lines clear ( my father has cancer) they just laughed and put phone down. After calling a further 9 times in 3 hours I asked to speak to a manager who came to phone and proceeded to laugh through my explanation and put phone down. I then blocked the number so they rang a further 10 times from international withheld and either blasted sirens or just laughed down phone .

The man said he was from sky but did not have any idea about my deal with sky and was was pretending to offer me a package thay i already have. Also I heard noise and laughing in the background at the start of the call which felt was suspicious as usually the background noise is not heard. I felt it was a scam so declined the offer.

They are calling "from BT" claiming that my pc is infected, they will ask for online access to my pc, they will take control of it only handing it back when I pay a fee - despicable scumbags

Totally bullshit company. The operator gets almost upset when you refuse his advice. I have had numerous calls, all routed through a Liverpool exchange number (01513752326). When I confirmed their location as Manchester, and when I questioned why through a Liverpool exchange, got all defensive. Hard sell agents, harassing isn t a strong enough word. Illegal should be more of a description! Block the numbers, never ever trust this company.
