Automated call warning of 2 bank card withdrawals - £300 on Amazon and £1100+ on an international service. Press 1 to allow and ... It's a scam. They don't identify who you are, who the bank is, the card number etc. It's to scare you into connecting with them and then confirming your bank details. If you have done this do an internet search for your bank fraud contact service and put a stop on your card/bank account IMMEDIATELY!
I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.
Automated call nuisance calls daily leaves half a recording, advise to block number do not answer
Fraud
Betrüger SMS
This one messaged to say a direct debit has been setup in favour of O2 for £345 and to call back on 03301654384. Looks like a scam.
SCAM Call center reporting to be an executive but rails to give details on who they are calling from
SCAM most definitely a scam - recorded announcement saying your Visa card has been compromised with a transaction of £300 at Amazon, etc. Instructed to press 1 to report it - DON'T! Just put the phone down.
Automated message saying HMRC court proceedings press 1 to speak to an agent.. So I hung up. suspected fraud.
Claimed to be calling from O2 sales department offering '40% discount on your call'. When I asked the person to provide an email address, didn't want to pursue the call further. Gentlemen was hard to understand (South Asian accent) and was hard to understand. Also quite pushy. Probably just SPAM but could also be SCAM
Silent call
Contact iBolt Cyber Hacker: Expert Bitcoin Recovery Service I recently fell victim to a fake investment website, losing $72,750 worth of bitcoin. After a thorough search, I came across iBolt Cyber Hacker, a team specializing in cryptocurrency recovery. Skeptical but hopeful, I decided to give them a try. Amazingly, within a few days, iBolt Cyber Hacker managed to recover my lost bitcoins. They provided detailed reports and evidence of the recovery process, which assured me of their legitimacy. "PLAN B" Telesales - I assume for Mobile plans seemed to know I was with Vodafone - so access to some data kept talking about want to talk to account holder. asked account holder for what ... and they would not say But vodafone run Broadband and other services... They Dropped the line
SCAM Called saying they were from BT and my internet speed had been reported as an issue. A technician are working on it, but it was software on my router that was wrong. Got me to look up internet speed. Gave them fake results, which would have been top drawer, to be told they were not good Passed me to another technician to get me to open windows run and enter 'www.anydesk.com'. That scam has been doing the rounds for years. Told them I worked in IT, and they hung up!
HMRC SCAM
Fraud. Used number to fraudulently obtain goods on credit using my details.
number not recognised, not answered
At work so didn't answer
I was called by this number today, the automated message told me my amazon prime account had expired and that my credit card would be charged £95 pounds for renewal, if I was unhappy about this, press 1. Sadly for them, (lucky for me) I don't have an amazon prime account, hung up imediately. The scary thing about this call was it was a local number to me, first time I've seen that, the other thing about that is it means its only relivent to people in the 0115 area, not nationally like the old scam num
