Almost certainly Handicare or their suppliers Companion Stairlifts. Based up in Leeds in same building with their advocate company Age UK. Not scammers but if you deal with these people make sure you specify everything you insist on in any hardware and also list stuff that you would like, even if they eventually can't do it, and ask for feedback. Make sure any hardware is FULLY TESTED, SAFE AS HOUSES and FIT FOR PURPOSE before signing off any agreement.

Received a call today from "Martin" who claimed to be from TPS, confirmed my phone number (which he rang to), my name and address and then asked me to confirm my expiry date for credit/debit card - when posed the question "why" he needed to know financial details for a free service, he suggested It was for verification purposes - I declined and asked from which company he was calling, at which point the phone went dead - SCUM!

I never state my name and immediately ask who is calling, on who's behalf and where they got my details. The lady passed me on to her male colleague. Who said they got my details from the car traffic accident department. I question why they would send them any information. I also stated I have not given any permission to anyone to use my personal data or pass it on. He then mentioned something about my personal data being secure (hmm) and mentioned something about my car insurance. I ask what car accident
