Claimed to be the Home Efficiency person for our postcode, implying government approval. These people just want access to your property to sell you products you probably do not need.
This was a recorded message telling me that a fraud case is being raised in my name (didn't mention my name though) and I should press 1 now to prevent a criminal case being reported to the police.

they said that they calling me from HRMC and on my name there is a committed fraud , if i dont pres 1 on the key pad , then my name will stay on the record. when they answered , I asked to prove that they calling to me from HRMC. - AFTER THAT THEY DROPPED THE PHONE
