Caller from this number upset an elderly person making unsubstantiated claims as to their use of the phone.

Foreign call centre selling web design. Advised him all my numbers are TPS listed.... he apologised and ended the call.

"Client aftercare helpline" seems like a scam to me

This Watford number called me today, I don't answer numbers I don't know due to number of unsolicited calls I receive. Went to voice mail and message was complete silence, my voice mail message informs callers that I block unknown numbers who don't leave a message so another one is added to the lengthening list. Why can't OFFCOM do something about this increasing nuisance?

Tried to coerce me into phoning a premium rate number by saying there was a warrant out for my arrest

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. As per above we too received a very official letter addressed to our business supposedly from Commercial Director Business Banking ,Gillingham. BOS confirmed it was a phishing scam but be very careful as it was such a good imitation you could easily be taken in by it. Thank you to the person who alerted us on 17th April.

I have been bonbarded with postal literature from BCC car sales. I noticed someone here has mentioned them also.I have recently received silent calls on my landline & my mobile from this number. I once bought a vehicle from BCC several years ago so I suppose I am on a mailing/phonecall list? :(

They call you about a possible accident you might have had - and keep calling you - they are a pain in the neck!!

No reply

Just had a call from "BT". Told me to put my computer on as there was error messages from our broadband. I asked why the genuine BT engineer who visited yesterday hadn't picked anything up. He was stumped - off script. He told me I needed to log in to my computer. I asked him why my computer was needed to sort out the hub. He (Asian) asked me if I spoke English!!!!! Oh how I laughed and said "what did you just say?". He then told me I was stupid and hung up.
