Very hard sales tactics and don?t take no for an answer. This is the second time I've received these unsolicited calls- the first time was from a different number but it's the same scam. The recorded voice message says that it is a call from HMRC regarding tax fraud. You are requested to press 1 to speak to an officer who then calls you back from a listed HMRC number. They inform you that you owe tax & when you ask for details or question why you've not received any written information they become argumentative & threatening.

Automated voice stating they where calling from HMRC and that there was a fraudulent case against me and if I did not press 1 immediately then a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. Firstly HMRC will never call you and secondly I am still waiting for the police to show up at my door and arrest me for nothing. Utter nonsense. Don't be fooled by these calls people.
