Tried to tell me they worked "along side" Legal and General which would make the unsuspecting think they work WITH or FOR Legal and General, which they don t as they admitted they were an independent finance company. This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. No one would have done that, or know to do that (the mobile number is not readily available). Three hours later they rang again and, when I answered, hung up. H
