It's a "hi mum/dad" scam. They'll pretend to be your child and ask you to send money
This person, man/woman called and was very rude down the phone, very demanding. Next time the same person called from this number 03302200441, was continusly rude and shouting down the phone, has called us to the count of 37 times from 03/02/2023 to present date 04/05/2023 - the 07951999600 number is listed in the Lady magazine issue 10/2021 under as wanting to buy scarfs.

scam call. apparently from my mobile provider and I have been selected to have my bill reduced, I asked who my provider was, they couldn't answer, and then asked how much it would be reduced too and they then asked for my last bill, I said if they are my provider they know how much my bill is and then the phone went down, they will try anything

I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). I figure if it was important / genuine they'd leave a message.

Automated call claiming to be from bank security department., telling me about suspicious transactions on my card. Since no bank was identified and my name was not requested, I hung up.
Fraud Scam. Vodafone support website has a page on which to verify that a number is calling from Vodafone. This is not a Vodafone number. Here's the information I could get from them before they hung up. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone promotional dept offering a new phone upgrade and 2 year contract. Caller was inconsistent in what they said. Once saying a verification email would arrive in 30 minutes then saying 1 hour. They switched for no reason between talking about iphone and Samsung phones.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. Claimed to be from the "promotional department" of my network provider O2 and they can offer me a 40% discount on my bill. When I asked how much this would be, they said they do not have my contract in front of them and "that we work with all the major networks". I am neither with o2 or have a contract....SCAM Fraud
Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't specify which bank). 2 suspicious transactions, first for £700something by International transfer.... Gave up at this point and hung up as it's one of many we've had all very similar wording.

SCAM - Told them to take a number off the list as the person has a memory dissorder. Have called daily after that, telling it is the first time they call. Different numbers, but same person called back right after from this number. She called from RCN Investments and if that is true, that she called because the person wrote her number at THEIR webpage- then they have sold the number to several other companies, because the phone is calling several times a day after the day she register on a web-page.
