I got a call from this number today and it s *DEFINITELY* a scam that s cynically intended to mess up your PC and then charge you on your credit card to fix a problem which didn t exist in the first place. Called a TPS registered line, asking for a named individual, and identifying themselves as "Jess from BT", and asking to talk about "Your broadband line". This is despite our Internet services not being provided by BT, and the named person that "Jess" was asking for having nothing to do with the provision of our broadband. If she really was from BT (which I very much doubt that she was) then it would be one good reason not to touch them with several barge-poles strapped together.
