Another scam number, automated message pretenting to be from our card issuer that there is suspicious activity. This is the second call this morning from a number started from 01256 with different end digits. Do NOT press 1 or 2 as suggested. Number blocked now.

Amazon SCAM call phishing for your details. Automated call, apparently from “Amazon” saying I had placed an order to be delivered to a different address to mine for £749.00. The activity was suspicious so blocked my account. Logged into my Amazon account using the official app and there is no such activity.

I called them several times over and got redirected to voicemail until they eventually gave up and answered. Lady picked up and I asked "What do you want"? No response and phone was put down. I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. A few minutes later I needed to make a call so I spent some time getting the screen to light up in order to dial out. Surprisingly this number was still calling me. I still didn't answer but waited for it tobgive up, which it eventually did. It must have been calling me for over 5 minutes, which is pretty crazy. Seems probable based on the previous
