Missed a call from this number. Rang it back and it's MCE motorbike insurance renewal. Cold calling really bugs me.

I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. So far the numbers who have called me are as follows: 01978 638019 01978 638253 01978 638486 01978 638995 I just wish I had bought a better landline phone to block these and other nuisance spam

Called at 01:00 (lucky my phones run silent after 21:00) no message left.

Said they were telephone preference service that were signed up to. Knew name and address. Said bills were paid by direct debit, card ending in 17. I said my husband sorts it so I ve no idea. Then wanted me to get a statement. I said no. I asked if my husband could sort it online but she didn t understand and kept offering to phone back.

I got a call from a lady what sounded like an Australian accent, asking about a PPI claim with my bank. She was unable to identify any further information about me, other than the fact I am owed a refund back from my bank. Which she could not identify which bank owes me this money. I been contacted many times in the past few years by these scammers on very similar 0161 939 numbers. Odd call from Mike at TPL . Said he was an agent looking to sell landlords. Wouldn t go in to detail; took a while and some prodding to just get that. Wouldn t explain what his company was. Quick to get off the phone after getting an email address (generic one given, of course!).

Recorded message on my house phone saying serious legal suit against me from HMRC. EM don't think so matey I work for HMRC no way do they operate in this way.

Had voicemail left from this number. Said it was for Feedback after my recent call with Dixons. I have been dealing with Curry s earlier today so assume it s connected with that.

I also bought these spacesaver bags and was consequently charged 99.99 by free time holidays.I contacted TSB fraud dept straight away and they refunded the money within ten minutes I never recieved a brochure or a phone call.Surely something should be done by somebody to stop these awful people.

It appears to be a number based in Romford which is a reverse charge number which the caller is actually paying

Rung me 6 times in half an hour today. I didn't answer as I never answer numbers that are not in my phone book. I have now blocked it.
