I keep getting calls from 0179211844/5/6/7 & concidentally I am on o2 as well. When I called back got recorded message stating that it was a marketing call, not to worry & they or may not call me back....hopefully NOT!

On answering there was a delay, then a voice saying I am from Pearl Assurance, we believe you have been in a car accident that is not your fault...... I said I don t drive and the line went dead

This number called me and left an automated voicemail indicating unless I called my internet would be cut off - clearly some sort of scam.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Number as displayed 0442155556312 African sounding accent - Not fluent in English. Asked if he was talking to mr ******* I asked him to tell me who he was without confirming my name. He persisted to try and get confirmation of my name each time I asked him to identify himself. After three attempts and clearly not getting anywhere with me he put the phone down

Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.

Had the same call as everyone saying from Sky and I was due a refund asking for details etc. Which is when I hung up as it seems it is a SCAM !!!!!

Someone somewhere was or is being scammed by some fake investment groups and it is sad, this experience is harder than many people think. Based on other comments- checked this number and sure enough it was from a telemarketer from help Your Claim. very noisy background (sounded like he was calling from a pub)
