Claimed to be from Halifax bank fraud team
I realized it was not a scam but paperweight. It was just strange that the call lasted 1 second and nobody answered. I called them to fill help me fill out disability related benefit forms. They tried to call me back.
Silent call, answered and an automatic voice said goodbye. Blocked.

Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!

SCAMScam. 'Christopher' from an 'accident claims line' regarding an accident on (correct date) that was 'not your fault'. This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Such lazy scammers - they use the same numbers each time. Basically if you receive a call from a Bolton code eg 01204 and you don;t live in Bolton or know someone who lives in Bolton, just ignore and block. It will just be these lazy evil scammers. Sometimes they claim to be TalkTalk, another time they claim to be 'National Debt Resolution'. They are totally useless - they are even rude the moment you answer, and can't even manage to sound even briefly plausible or professional. Evil fools - the worst.
4th March 2022 Called on my friends phone but hung up when I answered. My friend died three months ago and as executer for his estate I have his phone. Call log shows they also called on 22nd Feb 2022 but no message left so the number has been active for at least two weeks.

Legit. Checks out with what is listed on the HSBC UK website. Though the call quality was very bad. Also, you know it's a genuine bureaucratic banking process when they ask for 10 different details to confirm your identity. I swear the support lady could just identify theft the hell out of me at this point.

Call several times, over two day. Answer service activated with no message left just the sound of a call handling agency. Reason to believe call is not legit.
