Claimed to be EE, highly doubtful, didn't know my name which EE would. Caller had very strong Indian accent, everytime I've spoken to EE they've had UK based centres, also when questioned about call origin she wasn't sure where call was routed from...very suspicious Definitely seemed very scam-like
A man called to say he was from BT open reach and they had been getting security alerts about my IP address, which had been changed from private to public, so he would talk me through how to change it back on my computer. I told him to get a proper job and get lost.

They have called me 5 times in the past 4 days. Despite blocking their number, they are still trying to get through to me. They also leave blank messages on my answer phone. Avoid them like the plague and blocking them is the best advice I can give you.

Automated voice said my card had been used on Amazon and to press 1 if it was not me. None of my banks are in this area so this is a scam.

On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. They will remove your details if you bother to answer your phone and ask them to, rather than hiding from it and complaining on a random website like a child

Green Energy Together asking for a 25% upfront payment to secure our solar panel installation, they didn't introduce themselves properly so I didn't trust them and told them I'd rather stick to the agreement to pay on the day as originally agreed.
