Had a call from this number telling me they were from Microsoft and there was a problem with our computer. Could we log on etc. Told them to phone back later - They haven t. No idea if it is genuine!
Just block it instead, if your phone allows it. There s no reason for you to miss other calls and messages because of these idiots.

Claimed that they are from Assured Legal and that they are calling about an accident I recently had (not true). As soon as I tried to explain that their records were incorrect they hung up on me. Just got one. Calling about my "minor road collision" I haven t had one so this is definitely illegitimate. When I asked who was calling they rang off. The chap was definitely Scottish so this probably is being run out of ScotlandEdinburgh. Thought we had laws against it!

Said they were from HMRC and I was being sued for tax evasion and fruad. Quite threatening.
This number called, it was an automated voice telling me that my BT internet was being disconnected and to press menu buttons to access operative.
Company called on 01368850250, claimed to be Virign Media Technical Support. Virgin does not identify this number. Warning.

James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Contacted the bona-fide company and they said its a scam and to prove it to ask him if he knows my Google Business password. Yet to speak to him, so will be doing so!
