I got the call just a few minutes ago. I did not recognise it. In let it ring. At the end it rang off and left no message.I am old and not keen to trust ssuch callers

These numbers are provided by "reputable"service providers and are used (mostly) by independent marketeers on commission from large companies (e.g. BT, Sky, British Gas, etc.) to push products. I tried calling number back but it asked me to phone a code--- Needless to say I did not call code!! It was an Indian sounding gentleman and I suspect is a cold caller.
