Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. This is from the Greenpeace website Does Greenpeace UK make cold phone ?calls? No. We only make calls to people who have already signed up to our work / one of our campaigns, or who have told an agency that they are happy to be called by us.

Rang and asked about a car accident I had been involved in that was not my fault. When I said no and that they should not be calling me she asked me when I had the accident! I again said she should not be calling me and she put the phone down.

Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.
