Automated call. I didn’t speak on picking up My mobile, as I don’t know anyone in London. After about 3 seconds the phone hung up. No voices heard on their end, it just rang off. I’m having these hang ups 1–2 week. I don’t know why, I’ve Not had an accident or made any claims?

SPAM This number leaves an automated robotic sounding message with a slight american accent if the call is unanswered. But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964

SCAM Called by this number early today. Female with a strong Indian accent, said she was from Vodaphone and offering me a new contract. I cut the call short as I was busy with other things. I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Number blocked, DANGEROUS SCAMMER for sure.

As soon as I dial this number a voice comes on to say that this number cannot be connected followed by another voice that says that calls are not being answered by this number - please try later. I used this number successfully last week but this week it has not been answered at all. I am calling believing it to be Natwest

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. SCAM - Automated call claiming to be from Amazon, telling me that my Prime subscription has now been charged £95 for the year and to Press 1 to cancel. I hung up and blocked the number at that point. Checked my Amazon account online, nothing has been changed.

SPAM Person asked for a name that I have never heard of. I told him sorry, wrong number. He said "that's fine, what's your name please?" I said he doesn't need my name as he has called the wrong number and he got mad at me telling me that I'm rude and should tell him name. I hung up.
Clearly a scam - but impressive - even left a voice mail. DO NOT press 1 as the call suggests. The threatening message is clearly fraud. Why oh why can't the phone companies do something about these? Because they don't care...
