Call from O2 Business Team. I had a few mobile numbers out of contract which I did not know about.
Hung up when I answered
This number keeps calling me and hanging up. I traced it as far as Mill Wood in Barrow in Furness.
Received an automated cal from this number, saying that my Visa account had had two £300 withdrawn by Amazon, and a further £1000 by an overseas account, then asked if I wish to verify it. Just hung up
When I answered it cut off, so I can probably expect a sales call later.

Some outfit calling itself 'HR Advisor'. Pretending to be some kind of authority on HR law, which they clearly aren't - it's just the usual data harvesting.
There is something wrong with is number.
A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.
SCAM This looked like a local number BUT it was a recorded message purporting to come from Amazon about a sizeable sum taken from my account for an order and to press 1 if it wasn't me who made the order. Needless to say I hung up without pressing any numbers.
claim they can give you up to 40 percent mobile if you join EE if genuine they would of known I was with them already.. calling from three different numbers seeing the location on map they hang up, are silent, or pushing keep blocking their numbers.
The number will ring you and cancel the call before you can pick up, if you call back it will fail, most likely using a number spoofer.

They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. Automated message supposedly to be from my bank about charges to my account, the first for £700. I hung up as sure it's a scam. My bank doesn't contact me this way, or in this manner. Double checked and all is fine. My bank has been very good so far at spotting fraudulent debits. This looked like a local number so it could appear legitimate. I expect there was a number to press to connect with scammer. Despicable people.

I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.
