Safe number Received a call from 03333440000 trying to give me a text message to my landline. I hung up. Then I decided to check them out and it turned out to be a GENUINE COMPANY called AQL who were simply trying to give me a message. I called 03333446527 to retrieve my message which was from a NHS supplier. The message was important to me! Why the NHS supplier chose to send a text to my landline when they have my mobile number is a mystery to me. No worries here.

Foreign accent, called to say they were from Direct Mobile Company. When I said I was going to end the call and report the number, he said; Oh, why you speak like that Ma'am? And then he proceeded to verbally abuse me before hanging up.
Rang today and left a message that a suspicious amount of £799 had been charged to our card attached to our Amazon account. Press 1 to respond. Didn't of course. Obviously a scam.

Told them we didn't have it so he progressed to to say the Government site said we did and how did i know that we didn't and they weren't trying to sell anything. Answered the call could hear a call centre in the background then the call ended. Nobody spoke so don’t know what they were trying to sell.
