Claims to be from HMRC. A text-to-speech program tell you, your name has been linked to fraudulent activity. If you don't press 1 on the keypad you will be fined and charged immediately. They of course don't actually know your name. When you press 1 an American accented person tells you to hold on the line, then some terrible classical music starts to play whilst you're on hold. I didn't wait very long until I hung up. I lasted 4 minutes until I decided it was possibly fraudulent itself.

Called at 13:51 today by a foreign sounding male, who gave an English sounding name. Said he was calling on behalf of Marks & Spencer and stated they had been given my number by the Government. When I said I wasn t the person he was asking for (I was) he said "then why the f**k did you waste my time then you b***h" before disconnecting the call. Charming gentleman.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8436563xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?
