They scammed the company I work for by paying for their order for banners by cheque. They then claimed to have overpaid by £2,000. Unfortunately our young owner was unaware they had paid by cheque and as Nat West had the money as cleared on his account, he paid them the 2k direct into their bank account! It s harder for young people who have little knowledge of cheques. Robbing, thieving scammers; what goes round comes round - as in you ll get yours !!

Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.

Automated Scottish female voice left a message quoting a reference number and telephone number to call back. The company was called Zinc, which I m assuming is a debt collection company or someone attempting to steal my personal information, seeing as I have no debt.
I have had a missed call from this number. I think it might be a recruitment company as I have been applying for jobs recently.

received letter saying had won ?825,000.00 and to ring this number. Did not ring as letter said a "processing fee" had to be paid in order to get "winnings". SCAM. Sent letter back in their envelope telling them to "f**k off".

When I asked about for more information he mentioned something about the 50+ age range. I told him we are ex-directory so how did he get the number. The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.
Claimed to be Carphone Warehouse. Sounded more like an Indian call centre to me.
