This number comes up as unknown. We have had numerous calls from them over the last 2 or 3 months. Some are in the early hours of the morning good job we’ve got BT guardian
07956 885146. Suspicious number. Junk mail call - UK. Just had an obviously fraudulent phishing call from this number, a lady with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft and ringing "about the computer". She hung up on the second time that I asked what the call was about.

Known scam 0845 and 0843 numbers call for a second or two. They rely on you to call back as the number looks official. You are then played a recorded message that is designed to keep you on the line as the call is charged at over a £1 per minute. So you end up paying for the scam and your phone company probably won't help as you made the call willingly.

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.

Missed call, tried calling it back & got 'Not recognised', so looks as if it's being spoofed.
This number has repeatedly phoned me, but not left a message (and phoning the number gives "you have dialled an incorrect number". Strongly suspect it is call from 'Beneficial' in which case it is either a scam call or, at best, a harassing call.

But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. Indian scammer called saying there have been charges of over £1500 on a debit card that I do not have, waisted 50 mins of my time playing along, when I told him I have over £235,000 in a saving account plus another £53,000 in other accounts he gave me this number to call, I said I will call them in a hour as I have a Doctors appointment.

SCAM Noisy call centre. A woman with a thick Indian accent says "I am calling about your car accident" but hangs up as soon as you question her about details of where she's calling from.
SCAM This is sent from Evri apparently saying they couldn't deliver your parcel. Firstly I have no parcel coming from them, secondly I have EVRI app which tells me where my parcel has came from, who is delivering it etc coming from a small village our evri driver is known!
SCAM A recorded message saying that money had been withdrawn from my account to an unexpected payee and I should press 1 (to ignore I think that was) or press 2 for help. Instead of dialling either choice I checked my online banking record. As expected, there was no trace of any unauthorised withdrawals so I blocked the number.
They called me then but rang off quickly before I could answer then left me an extremely bizarre voicemail that just sounded like someone typing for ages on a computer with no speaking on it.
