Had two calls from this number today and they asked for one of the directors by name. I spoke to this director and he said to take a message. The guy from this company (Alan from the Surveyors Office)said that he would try later. I said he would be better leaving a message as I didn t think the call was for this particular person. Companies have got clever because they know if they say PPI upfront, no-one will talk to them! These guys say: "Money Save - in a response to a survey you filled in and expressed an interest in financial products"! Well I may have completed a survey but I certainly did not express an interest in anything! It was then she said they were saving us money by helping to claim compensation, "previously known as PPI." !

Caller hung up as soon as I answered.

They scammed the company I work for by paying for their order for banners by cheque. They then claimed to have overpaid by £2,000. Unfortunately our young owner was unaware they had paid by cheque and as Nat West had the money as cleared on his account, he paid them the 2k direct into their bank account! It s harder for young people who have little knowledge of cheques. Robbing, thieving scammers; what goes round comes round - as in you ll get yours !!

Caller said she was BT openreach and that there was a fault on my computer. I said no there isn't, she said how do you know?. I answered because I'm a computer expert....

Multiple automated calls to my ex-directory, TPS-registered number.

They ring you up and launch into their patter about time running out to claim for PPI. I don t know whether they are any use to someone who has actually been mis-sold PPI but probably not, as these people would already know and have lodged their claim - free - with their bank. No-one needs these parasites; certainly not me.

I think the company is called Datamatics. It s a London number, but diverts to India
