TAXES / HMRC Automated number saying I’ve committed tax fraud and to press 1 to speak to an officer. I just hung up. Then I phoned it back and it said calls to this number are not being connected. So it’s a SCAM

I answered this call as it appeared to be a mobile number. Suspect it was spoofing it s real number. Caller knew my late father s name, wanted to do a 60 second survey. I kept telling him that father wasn t here any more, and that I was moving shortly, but he kept asking questions about how old my washing machine was. I hung up.
