This number called me and said they were calling about an accident I had within the last 3 years. I asked her what accident would that be? She said you tell me! I said no you seem to know so much about me you tell me. She was so rude. She said don t give me that all you had to say was yes or no. She didn t ask me if I d had an accident so how could I answer yes or no. I said how dare you cold call me then kick off. She went yeah yeah whatever and put the phone down! Unbelieveable. I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

This is a false phone number. As at Jun 2017, only 0239 (Portsmouth) and 0238 (Southampton) are valid.
Scammer - Says they are BT openreach, then proceeds to say there is a problem with the router and you need to give them details to fix it. When I said I don't have BT services, the guy said "I know, BT is the only distributer over the country!" Really? Perhaps they need to do their homework. Third attempt these idiots have tried in the last 3 days.
