This number was used to send me a Payment Request from a Caroline Fox via PayPal for £729. I called PayPal and reported phishing. Apparently this is not the first time this request has been made from this person.

Te dice que le hagas el pago por transferencia o Bizum. Una vez que pagas, no te manda el producto, te bloquea el WhatsApp y no te contesta las llamadas. Es un timador latino de Madrid.

Scam caller claiming to be from your ISP and threatening to cut the service

This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This is because I am on Carers Allowance. HMRC do not have my mobile number. SCAM

SCAM - offered 40% discount on my next bill, when I asked who they were they said it was for my phone bill. I asked if it was Vodafone and she said yes, then asked how much I was paying for my phone bill and what kind of device I had - all information she should have been able to gather from my account. Called my mobile, I have an app that tells me if it's a spam call if the number is not in my contacts. This came up as "Suspected Spam - debt collector" - Not sure if it was, I didn't answer. Searched a couple of these sites and the number is not listed anywhere - very odd

Picked up this call and it then ended immediately, presumably a scammer.

Call center, SCAM. Claimed to be calling on behalf of mobile phone provider but didn't know who owned the phone and wanted name and address. Wouldn't give his name when challenged. Loud call centre. Strong Indian accent. Called mid Sunday afternoon.
