one with an Indian accent and I told him or her (couldn't tell from voice) to remove my number from the calling list. They hung up. Shortly afterwards, I looked up Cambridge Joining Technology Ltd, which turns out to be a real company, and called the mobile number on its website and warned the man that his company name is being used. He didn't recognise the number.

Called representing Public Health England - I sensed fraud. Called again using abusive language, racial language and threatening my family.
Pretending to be from Virgin Media; "Hello my name is Carol, I'm calling from Virgin Media" with thick Indian accent and noisy call centre background. Asked which part of London this Virgin Call centre is in. She replied "Canberra", maybe confused with Australia? I asked if she's sure she's not from Kerala or Calcutta to which she replied with "muder fu**er, F**k you".

Called asking for my pension details saying they need to send out some new documents. Felt uncomfortable half way through call & asked them to confirm my scheme number. He couldn t & said their info appears to be wrong. He was very friendly & polite but nothing rang true. He said he will confirm his info & ring me right back. He didn t but I rang my pension company who confirmed it was nothing to do with them & they ll investigate. Fraudsters, do not tell them anything!

The number they called is for an organisation with thousands of employees and the number they called is not for any individual. 14 Oct 2021 - Caller pretended to be a friend of my daughter when she had asked for her and I told her she no longer lived here. She said her name was Sarah and claimed she had pressed the wrong number in her list of contacts. Seemed very plausible as daughter has a Friend named Sarah, but transpires they haven't been in touch for years. Reply
