Bogus 'Personal Accident' calls / Phone Pest.

Just another ppi call

Asked for confirmation that I had an accident that was not my fault. They paused then hung up when I asked if their records went back to 1964. Sounds like the usual type of cold calling looking for business by helping you...

This scammer (from an Indian call centre by the sounds of it) keeps bombarding me with unsolicited offers of a "discomfort payment" following a car accident. Because I will have nothing to do with such fraud they keep calling me back. I am on TPS.

Optical Express - they called as I had made an inquiry online about laser eye surgery but they rang 10 times over the space of a few days, didn t leave a message or text/email to say who they were. It really has put me off using them as I can imagine they will harass me if I do go for a consultation.

Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need. I returned to Johnny and advised this, to which he said "did you tell him it s a financial matter?". I responded, "No, because you didn t say it was. But he won t take the call". He persisted for a little longer before he hung up on

I keep getting calls from 0179211844/5/6/7 & concidentally I am on o2 as well. When I called back got recorded message stating that it was a marketing call, not to worry & they or may not call me back....hopefully NOT!

Called me mention my name , when I answered he hang up on me He did he gets my phone number and my name too

An idiot rang me from this number stating that he could get me refunds for all of any of the loans, credit cards and mortgages that I d ever had during my lifetime. I told him that I didn t have any just to get him off the phone to which he replied that I WAS A LIAR. It looks like they know your number and full name. the caller said they are "consumer information bureau" and wants to do survey.
