Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.

Fraud Attempting to gain banking details, after stating there had been unusual activity on my bank account. I had checked my account this morning , knew it to be untrue so cut off the call. they tried to ring twice more in 10 minutes but declined, then blocked. My bank unaware so reported to Action Fraud.

People find it hard to stay committed again. It’s becoming a difficult thing. Getting information & data you need is quite not a big deal. Sometimes the truth needs to be unveiled by whatsoever means necessary. This number phoned and a recorded message stated that it was my bank asking to verify that 2 payments made today were genuine and if not to press 1 to speak to a member of the fraud team. No name of bank given so I suspect it to be a scam.

As resident in Denmark I am keen to know who is calling me. As I will not answer foreign phone numbers without knowing who is calling.

Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. SCAM Call from this number and again a male with a strong Asian accent. He knew my name and asked if I was that person. I didn't confirm but when I questionned him about who he was, he said he was calling from Health Department. When I asked him to define WHICH Health Department, he stalled. I said "you don't know, do you? There are many UK Health departments". At this point he simply hung up. I consider thiis a risk and potential scam.

Fraud. Asian male called about my BT internet connection. I said “keep going, I am recording the this call for security purposes”. He said “F*ck you” and hung up.

I received a call from this number claiming to be O2 but they tried to reset my account information I ended the call and called O2 to confirm it was in fact a fraud caller

this is now someone trying to sell phone contracts they said they "partnered" three my existing company except i left three months ago - dodgy phone deals
