Fraud - It's Christmas time and the scammers are out in force. This is a fake HMRC message bot. Whatever we think of the tax man, at least we can rest assured HMRC wouldn't call like that ... they'd send 5-15 letters first. As much as the bot message is amusing to listen to in its fake urgency and menace, there will unfortunately be people, who will get upset by this and fall for it ... DON'T!
These mugs keep calling my grandmothers house, so have them the wrong address and then I kept questioning who they are, and why they are calling. SCAM This number phoned me yesterday, 15th December 2020 at 4.25 pm. Recorded voice saying there is suspicious activity hacking into your Internet and to press 1 to speak to our executive to have it fixed or it will be disconnected at 6pm. Needless to say this is definitely a scam and hoax as everything is completely ok. If this had been an elderly person getting a call like this they would be so worried and would press 1 and pay money. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM AND YOU SHOULD HANG UP AND BLOCK THE NUMBER!!
