TAXES / HMRC - recorded message with female / American accent stating from HMRC and asking to press options - very obviously a scam.

SCAM Recorded message advising there was a transaction on my account from Amazon and a money transfer for £1300. I have confirmed with my bank this is a scam.

Called to say my loft insulation had unsafe material and that it could be replaced for free. She asked if I would be interested. I said yes but only if they send details by post to my address. She hung up straight away.

Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.

DANGER ! Definitely Spam. Lady with Indian accent as O2 customer service telling me they had received multiple complaints about signal problem. I said I was satisfied with signal coverage. She then tried to give me a number to call back. I challenged her and told her I thought she not not legit. She started arguing. I said a real customer agent would not argue like that. This number has called several times, including 9 calls today. Young man called Chris - claiming he’s an energy advisor in this area. Answered once - told him I’m not the property owner and he hung up. Just answered - told him I’d already spoken to him and he just said “nice talking to you” and hung up.
